MDA Space is headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, with offices and facilities across Canada. MDA also has operations in the United Kingdom and USA.
MDA is incorporated in Ontario, Canada, with a heritage that dates back more than 50 years to the original founding of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates in 1969 in British Columbia, Canada.
MDA has a workforce of over 3,000.
MDA’s fiscal year ends on December 31st.
The Company’s shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol MDA.
MDA completed its initial public offering and its common shares began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on April 7, 2021.

MDA does not pay a dividend. The Company does not currently contemplate the payment of dividends and expects to retain future earnings to fund the development and growth of its business. Any determination to pay dividends in the future will be at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors and will be dependent upon the Company’s earnings and financial conditions, covenant restrictions and other relevant factors.
